GIS Summer School 2016 program!!

Posted by on Jun 7, 2016 in GIS Blog

GIS offers an exciting Summer School program for students ages 1 – 14 years old over the summer holiday, from Monday, June 27th through Friday, August 5th , 9:00am – 2:30pm. Led by our regular GIS classroom teachers, Summer School offers a great opportunity for students to improve their English skills, employ their creativity, socialize with friends, experiment with new ideas, and build confidence in their abilities. French classes are also available for elementary students.

In the mornings, teachers will lead structured lessons in reading, writing, and speaking as well as hands-on activities in science and art. Afternoons allow for more outdoor and social time. Year after year students love our outdoor water fun, including an exciting water slide and various events to celebrate summer. Field trips will also be part of the program. School lunch is available to order, and the school bus may also be available, depending on your location. Early morning daycare from 8:00 am is an option, as is after school childcare after 2:30 pm until 5:00 pm.

Please return your child’s Summer School Registration form today, indicating the dates of attendance, childcare needs, and the lunch order. The program is flexible, and you may sign up for the days that work with your schedule.

We look forward to another exciting summer of learning and fun here at GIS!
