G5-G6 Overnight Field Trip to Okutama

Adventure is worthwhile. Aesop

The fifth and sixth graders just came back from a memorable overnight trip to Okutama that fostered bonding between the students and exposed them to exciting activities that encouraged stepping outside their comfort zone and trying new things. On the menu: canyoning with the amazing staff from Splash Tokyo, visiting the largest cave in the Kanto region, the Nippara Limestone Cave, pottery making, and hiking in the forest. And as if those activities weren’t enough, the students also helped preparing dinner and breakfast, they played games, and last but not least, they enjoyed a delicious ice cream. This is one field trip they are unlikely to forget!
