Practice isn't the thing you do once you're good. It's the thing you do that makes you good. Malcolm Gladwell
This November, badminton wasn’t just for the gym—it came into the classroom too! In PE, students played badminton, learned basic skills, and enjoyed fast rallies with their friends. Then, in writing class, they worked on a simple research project. Each student was given a topic, such as badminton rules, history, equipment, or famous players, and learned how to search for information, pick useful facts, and find pictures to match their writing. They then organized their ideas into short, clear paragraphs, putting what they learned into words. It was exciting to see their curiosity grow as they discovered fun new details about the sport.
Doing research for the first time was not easy, but the students approached it like a tough badminton rally—giving their best effort. We look forward to seeing them become more confident with both research and writing next time.
