Field Trip to the Bicycle Park

Restore balance. Most children have technology, school, and extracurricular activities covered. It’s time to add a pinch of adventure, a sprinkle of sunshine, and a big handful of outdoor play. Penny Whitehouse

The K5 class had an amazing time on our field trip to Haginaka Park! It was such a beautiful fall day, and everyone was full of energy and smiles. The students rode bicycles around the track again and again, carefully following the traffic rules like real little drivers. For some, it was their very first time on a bike, but they were so determined — and it didn’t take long before they were pedaling all on their own!
Next, we headed to the “junk park” area, where the kids got to climb on an old fire truck, boat, train, and bus. Their imaginations ran wild! The big slide was also a huge hit — everyone loved zooming down and feeling the cool autumn breeze.
We finished the day running and laughing in the big grassy field, playing a few rounds of “Duck, Duck, Goose!” It was such a fun-filled day, and we’re so happy the weather (and the kids!) made it absolutely perfect.
