Science Fair 2015

Posted by on Jun 22, 2015 in GIS Blog

Friday, June 19th was an exciting day of Science at GIS! Explaining scientific concepts, leading hands-on activities, and answering questions, students engaged parents and guests in their special science projects.

Guests enjoyed the Duckling bubble and light experience, the Kindergarten activities about sinking and floating objects, hands-on experiences with musical instruments by G1/G2, explanations of hand-made hydraulic arms by G3, presentations about famous scientists working with nature by G5/G6, and an interactive presentation on magnets by G7.

A special thank you to the parents who joined us, to the teachers who planned and supported the student work, and to the students for their hard work in making Science Fair 2015 a great day!
