Winter is fast approaching, and we invite all students to join us for Winter School 2023! We will have 7 days of exciting activities and this year’s theme is “GiS Art Exhibition: Happiness”. Kindergarten and elementary students will participate in activities and lessons that encapsulate this emotion and allow them to express their creativity and ingenuity.

Art is the true expression of imagination, and it can involve various skills such as sculpture and painting. Art is meant to evoke different emotions and we hope to capture the true essence of happiness during Winter School this year. Students will learn to utilize all their senses, improve their cognitive ability, and develop their motor skills. They will have the chance to show off their decision-making skills and inventiveness. These abilities are important in all lessons including math, language arts and social studies.

During Winter School students will learn all the wonders and delights that the winter season holds. Not only will we provide a warm and nurturing environment at GiS but there will also be field trips for students to expand their horizons beyond the classroom. Children are sure to have memorable experiences that they will cherish for years to come.

想像力を、アートで表現してみましょう。
彫刻や絵画など、クラスによってさまざまなアプローチを考えています。今年のウィンタースクールでは、このテーマで子どもたちの豊かな感性を引き出し、「ハッピー」を捉え、描くことができたらいいなと思っています。
英語だけでなく、五感をフルに使いますので、認知能力や運動能力にも良い影響があります。子どもたちの豊かな発想力や、意思決定力を見出す良い機会となるでしょう。このスキルは、算数や国語、社会を含むすべての授業において大切であると考えられています。

冬のホリデーシーズンがもたらすキラキラした魔法のようなひとときを、ぜひ GiS で感じてください。

英検コース
1月に行われる英検(第3回検定)に向けて、グレッグでは 12月18日から26日の間、短期集中コースを開催します。

必須イディオムや多読など、経験豊富な講師陣が効率的かつ効果的に皆さんの総仕上げのお手伝いをします。少人数制です。
* 2024年度より英検の問題形式が一部リニューアルされる為、2024年1月21日（日）の第3回検定が、変更前最後の試験となります。
