K5 Science Project

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known. Carl Sagan

This year, our K5 scientists have been diving into the fascinating world of dinosaurs.
Each student selected a favorite dinosaur, created detailed drawings, and conducted simple research to write their own short paragraphs. Along the way, we explored what dinosaurs ate and discussed the different theories about what led to their extinction.
As a class, we also worked together on a large dinosaur mural illustrating our ideas about why dinosaurs disappeared. To bring our learning to life, we built a volcano model and carried out an exciting lava experiment! It was a fun, hands-on experience that sparked curiosity and helped deepen the students’ understanding.

It has been so much fun, full of discovery, creativity, and learning!
