G1- Learning to Write Compositions!

The pen is mightier than the sword!

Our Grade 1 students are getting used to the next step in school life as elementary students. Students have gotten to know their new teachers and classmates, and are settling in well. Grade 1 is more difficult than kindergarten, and there are many new academic challenges. However, our Grade 1 students have been working hard in school, and are making academic improvements day by day!

In English class, students are learning how to spell, and use the correct grammar and punctuation. They now know that each sentence needs to be a full sentence, with a capital letter and an end mark. Every day, students write English compositions based on a picture. As you can see, within just a few weeks, students can already write basic stories with few mistakes. Their teacher is very happy to see their steady improvement. Keep up the good work Grade 1!
