GiS Summer School 2023
Summer will be here soon, which means that it’s time to get excited about Summer School 2023! This year’s theme is “Science Around Me”, and students can look forward to conducting weekly fun experiments and STEM activities that are meant to fulfill their curious, investigative, and creative minds.
Science is one of the most impactful subjects, and whether indoors or outdoors, it is indeed all around us. During Summer School, students can expect to explore all things science, from chemical reactions, gravity, zoology, physics, earth sciences, and more, in a safe and nourishing environment. Classes will enjoy a variety of learning and play opportunities through language arts, math, social studies, arts & crafts, sports, and other hands-on activities.
Our Summer School for Kindergarten and Elementary students provides a welcoming environment full of learning and excitement. Parents can rest assured that their child’s summer experience will be enhanced at GiS, and that they will create lasting memories in the sun with fellow classmates and teachers.
All ages are welcome, so there will be something for everyone! Learning doesn’t have to end just because the school year does. Join us at Summer School 2023 as we discover just how cool science can be!

サマースクール 2023
夏はもうすぐそこまで来ているような今日この頃です。これは、ワクワクのサマースクールが、もうすぐ始まるということです!
この夏の大きなテーマは、『サイエンス・アラウンド・ミー』。ここから分岐する週替わりのテーマに沿って、楽しい実験や、STEMの学びに沿ったアクティビティをたくさん実施する予定です。好奇心旺盛? 研究が好き? とてもクリエイティブ? そんな子どもたちの心を大いに満たすテーマです。夏休みの自由研究のヒントにもなりそうです!
サイエンスは、私たちの生活に最も影響のある教科といえます。家の中でも外でも、サイエンスは私たちを取り巻くすべて、暮らしのいたるところにあります。今回のサマースクールでは、身近にある化学反応や引力、または動物についてだったり、物理、地球の不思議などなどを取り上げる予定です。理科という教科にしばられず、英語、算数、社会、図工、体育、どの教科でも ‘サイエンス’ を感じることができるアクティビティが満載です。少人数クラスの、安心できる環境の中で楽しく学べることも魅力の一つでしょう。
グレッグのサマースクールは、お子様にワクワクして登園、登校いただけるような明るく楽しい教室でお待ちしています。お母様は、お子様の夏休みがグレッグのサマースクールでパワーアップされると安心して送り出してください。子どもたちは、お日さまの光の中で、友だちや先生と忘れられない思い出をつくって帰るでしょう。
